Light.
Creamy.
Ultra luxurious!
I was given the opportunity to review Forlan BB Cream by Forlan Skincare. I will admit that I have been a skeptic about creams and such for my face, because ever since I had my third child, I have suffered horribly from rosacea. Cheeks, nose, forehead, and little bits on my chin–it’s been awful. Makeup has been a nightmare to wear–irritating it, and making it itch relentlessly. I tried homeopathic remedies like apple cider vinegar with the mother, and while it was helping, it was really slow and I was seeing little progress.
It wasn’t until two weeks ago when I bought an over-the-counter remedy that things began improving. But a week later, when I began using Forlan BB Cream, it only got better! I have no more itching, no more irritation, no more burning. With Prosacea alone, my symptoms were getting better, but wearing makeup still made the rosacea a little aggravated. Being out in public though without makeup was unthinkable–the embarrassment is real. With Forlan BB Cream put on my face before my foundation, my face was nourished and washing off makeup later didn’t leave me feeling sore. The combination of the two products are working wonders on my face. I cannot BELIEVE the difference! Forlan BB Cream’s product description doesn’t mention specifically helping rosacea, so I guess I’ve had an added bonus!
The cream is incredibly light but incredibly potent. It’s not greasy, has no noticeable scent, and it absorbs well into the pores. For me, it’s a perfect amount of absorption, and when I add my foundation over it, it doesn’t feel moist or greasy–just natural! The Vitamins A & E have made my face so very smooth–my face hasn’t felt like this for a very long time! The results I noticed–smooth, clean-feeling face, softness, added help for the Prosacea cream–were within the first 48 hours of using the cream. I’ve used it every day that I’ve applied makeup, which has been five days during this week.
I’m thrilled with what this cream has done for my face. It has completely changed my routine, and it has made me feel more hopeful that I might one day have a normal-looking face again!
