Did you see that title? No? Ok, here it is again:
It’s National Cheesecake Day!
All humans far and wide are celebrating a tasty day.
Origins
Cheesecake may have gone back to ancient Greece. The earliest mention of cheesecake was by a Greek physician named Aegimus, who wrote a book on making cheesecake!
Pasteurized cream cheese was developed by James Kraft in 1912. In 1928 the Philadelphia trademark was purchased by Kraft, and Philadelphia Cream Cheese was born. It is now widely used for making cheesecake.
I love cherry cheesecake, raspberry, chocolate, and turtle cheesecake!
What is YOUR favorite flavor of cheesecake? Tell me in the comments section!
