I’ve decided to make a fresh start with my blog, and to launch my own domain name. It’s been a big step, and it has been a lot of work. It took a lot of time to dig through all of the free themes, all of the neat plugins at WordPress, and then setting everything up seemed like an endless task! I began writing things down that needed to be done, because I found myself with as many as twenty open windows on my browser. I was overwhelmed!
This is all a learning process for me. Learning about SEO (and doing my own tags), getting reacquainted with coding (grudgingly), and shouldering the responsibilities of a more powerful and inundating system has been quite the ordeal. I’m looking forward to reaping the benefits from all of my hard work, and seeing the site grow.
That said, it’s a little odd the feeling that I have now, knowing that my Blogger blog is not going to be updated anymore. It’s as if I’m saying goodbye to an old friend. I know that sounds cliche and corny, but I got my start there, and it’s a weird feeling that I’m feeling.
